Hawkeye senior Mark Ballweg declares war on the 141-pound weight division



The only thing I worry about with Ballweg is his easy schedule relative to most of the other Hawks. Ballweg has only faced two top 10 opponents and he's 1-1 in those matches. The Edinboro match with Port will be key to seeing where he rates against AA caliber wrestlers.
 


Although he has had an "easier road" than the other Hawks, i love the way he has continued to push in his matches. I beleive that his confidence has increased with each win and that will carry him along way in tournament season. I also think the fact that NCAA's are in DSM will give him a lift.
 


Fuldose I agree with his confidence at an all-time high and ncaa's in dsm I think he will have a great tournament which will be huge for team points. I think a lot of ppl didn't count on his points at ncaa's at the beginning of the season
