Need some help Gents. My friend oddly just bet me a cool $50 that Moeaki had a PR TD in his career. I obviously know this is incorrect. DJK had the KR TD in the OSU game in 09, previous to that I believe it was the Brodell PR return against ISU, and maybe before that the C.J KR TD in the bowl game against USC??? My question is where can I go to prove to my friend that he is 100% incorrect?

i'm with you, but i can't prove it. when was he ever on the punt return team? being tight end i could see him on punt team, but not return team.
 


Not only did he never had a return TD, he never had a punt return, period. Not sure how you could ever prove it conclusively, though. Try going to hawkeyesports.com and look up his season stats for each year he was here. There won't be any return stats listed.

The last 2 punt return TDs for Iowa were Brodell against ISU in 08 and Jovon Johnson in the season opener against Ball St in 2005. Those would be the only 2 punt or kick return TDs for the entire Iowa football team during Moeaki's career here.

Adrian Clayborn's block return vs. PSU is considered a punt return.
 


Your friend is kind of a dummy. Double the bet and see if you can get him to think that Bulaga caught a TD pass.

Also, Wallner Belleus (sp?) returned a punt against ASU in 2004 I believe.

Jermelle Lewis returned a kick but I can't remember if it was 2002 or 3.

Boater trust me. I offered my 5k to his $500 but he refused. $50 was the best I could get out of him. Between the $175 i won off of good old Jloss on the punch bag machine last weekend at the ridgemont last weekend and this bet, I'm a rich man!......if only I actually made my friends pay their bets off!
 




I'd just about bet he's probably thinking of Paki, who blocked and returned a punt for a TD against Eastern Illinois last year.
