Hawkeye fans are invited to Legend’s American Grill on 50th Street in West Des Moines starting at 10 am this Sunday, April 14. Tailgate with hundreds of fellow Hawk fans before the open Iowa football practice at Valley Stadium. Legend’s will have musical entertainment, door prizes, and drink specials including $10 buckets of beer including 4 domestic bottles, $3.50 Bloody Mary’s and Screwdrivers, and locally brewed Consluence IPA for $3.
No alcohol or tailgating is allowed on school district or area church property parking so Legend’s is the perfect spot to enjoy a few hours of fan camaraderie before the Hawks take the field. Admission is $5 for adults. High school age and younger is free. And it’s just a short walk to the stadium.
