All the more reason why, as much as ever under KirkFer, he needs to turn the offense loose and go win some games.
I'm not sold on the D:
1) Obviously, loss of 3 really good, experienced Lb's. They were the difference over that last 1/3 of last season. Having this unit "unsettled" (whether that's an injury, position battle or emotional struggles) is not what you want out of your least experienced unit; especially in the passing game.
2) With the exception of King, not a lot of confidence in the back 4 - Mabin and Lomax and Lowdermilk, oh my!
3) The front 4 are pretty good but I think they are what they are and what you've seen is what you'll get. Already down a good one (Cooper), which is crucial to success of the unit when you're running 300#-ers.
