Hawkeye Defense: How do we get better?

Basically, stop losing recruited defensive line players. John Raymon was the latest to head out. I'm not sure what the problems are in that area. I have mys suspicions. I will leave it at that.

This is our big problem. What are your suspicions?

Have all our D-lineman doing gassers all day long every day until they can do them no more. We aren't the biggest, strongest, or quickest. The one thing we have to do is be in the best shape so we can pressure. Work them hard coaches!

I'm sure coach K works them plenty hard. We've just lost too much depth.

6-2 is a MUST for this team coming into the HUGE final four game stretch. We have the next two games, plus Purdue that the team HAS to win. There's no excuse not to. If this Defense can continue to improve, and get healthy, ESPECIALLY the next two weeks, this team will give Michigan and Michigan State everything they can handle, especially at Kinnick Stadium.
