Seems that we've seen run to weisman followed by run weisman and then on 3rd down, run weisman. We're used ot that. It's our comfort zone. So now, when we see Iowa do something a bit different on 3rd down will we say we were "being a bit cute"? especially when it fails to pick up the first down. Have we really gotten to the point where anything that isn't run is "being cute?" I hope not and I hope I don't see that comment anymore this year. - NCH

I think the offense will need to still be more efficient in the pass game and mix it up on first and second downs.

On the first offensive possession yesterday we saw WMich put a lot of guys in the box and the hawks ran it ok but couldnt punch it in. Yet W Mich was ripe to be burned on a naked boot, or some type of counter action.

I think the players and coaches need to find some high percentage plays against goofer soft spots.

We have to throw in the pass sometimes in our drives and so far when we do it is working pretty good. I think we have a good well balanced team. But our bread and butter is the power run game with Weisman. GO HAWKS!

dumbest statement on the board today...You don't know that. Because of the 4 nonoffensive touchdowns, that kept the offense off the field. Plus, they pulled the starters midway through the 3rd, or sooner in some cases...Learn a little about football before you post your next one champ.
