Unfortunately this is probably spot-on. There will always be a faction of Penn State fans and donors working to get that statue put back up.

According to this article the statue was only moved into Beaver Stadium. If that is so then this maneuver is just more evidence that PSU still doesn't get it.

And if true then also the translation of hasta la vista meaning "see you later" is an apropos statement as well.
