HAS ANYONE

I see your statement and raise you Royce White.

ehhh, Maybe Hoiberg is simply better at playing the mind games than I gave him credit for. That being said Hoiberg is struggling big time with the Bulls. I dunno, it is rare to see an effort guy in college go off the deep end like this.

So Hoiberg was able to "get through" to him and Prohm isn't? I just find it odd all of sudden dude starts flaking out.

Do you not see the difference between the two coaches? Fred expected his players to do the right thing, but when they didn't he didn't really care. Look at BDJ for example. Dude had the police keep showing up at his house over and over again for the same reason. Fred got involved early on and that didn't change anything. Prohm is more of a disciplinarian. He's going to try making his players better people on and off the court. Fred is more of a "do what you have to do and make sure you're on the court to help out the team".

McKay is butting heads with Prohm because he isn't able to do his own thing. It's as simple as that.

Let's not get carried away putting Hoiberg up on that pedestal. He couldn't connect with BJD...which most definitely impacted their total failure in the NCAA last year. BJD just signed a 3 year contract with the Pelicans. So the only Cyclone in the NBA right now sat on the bench and watched Iowa State's season end last year.

We all knew the transfer way of doing things would catch up to Iowa State sooner or later. First it was BJD. Now it's McKay.
