Hard to believe

I will be in the Caribbean with family for first round NCAA games,maybe pick a game up on the ship.Not holding my breath that the team can get on a hot run.

We were picked 9th. I ran a ton of different scenarios. Lose the next 2 and we most likely end up tied for 6th or 7th. Win tomorrow and lose to Michigan and we most likely end up 4th (Wisconsin loses at Purdue) or 5th (Wisconsin wins at Purdue). So there is a good chance we still get a top 4 bye with a win tomorrow.

Edit - Win out and we likely tie for 1st or 2nd.

So, what's the BTT tourney bracket looking like based on those scenarios? Now that's be fun to look at....;)

That would be my guess on how it plays out. They get the double bye hopefully they get Wisky or OSU in the quarters, then MD,MSU,Indy in semifinals. Preferably MD or Indy.

It's all kinds of crazy. I looked at so many scenarios I can't keep it all straight.

I want 2 things this week and both are attainable. I don't think Indiana is as tough mentally as Wisconsin. I don't think they are going to come into Carver and get a win on Senior Night. So I really want that win. If we lose at Michigan we lose at Michigan.

Also, I want Purdue to beat Wisconsin this weekend on Purdue's Senior Night. This pretty much guarantees us a bye into Friday in the Big 10 Tournament...with the Indiana win. Of course I prefer an Iowa win over Michigan. But home wins by Iowa and Purdue are much needed.

All of these scenarios assume Iowa beats Indiana and loses to Michigan while Michigan State wins their last 2 games. The games I'm referring to are this weekend's games.

1 - IN & PU win - We are the 4 seed and play Purdue (5) -> IN (1) -> MSU (2)

2 - MD & PU win - We are the 4 seed and play Purdue (5) -> MSU (1) -> MD (2) or IN (3)

3 - IN & WI win - 5 seed playing RUT -> MD (4) -> IN (1) -> MSU (2) or WI (3)

4 - MD & WI win - 5 seed playing RUT -> IN (4) -> MSU (1) -> WI (2) or MD (3)

I prefer these scenarios in the order they are listed.

1 - IN & PU win - We are the 2 seed and play OSU (7) -> MSU (3) -> IN (1) or PU (4) or MD (5)

2 - IN & WI win - 3 seed playing PU (6) -> WI (2) -> IN (1) or MSU (4) or MD (5)

3 - MD & PU win - 2 seed playing OSU (7) -> MSU (3) or WI (6) -> MD (1) or IN (4) or PU (5)

4 - MD & WI win - 4 seed playing IN (5) -> MD (1) or MI (8) -> WI (2) or MSU (3) or PU (6)

Look at scenario 4. Iowa and Indiana are the 4 and 5 seeds in the tournament...and they are Big 10 Champions. It's a 5 way tie for 1st at 13-5 so over 1/3 of the conference hangs a championship banner.

Holy crap Windsor. Looks like you got about everything covered. Now all we need is Iowa to win on Tuesday

No doubt.....I was just guessing off the top of my head. Btw, i think they beat Indiana tommorrow night what happens after that is beyond me.

Beat Indiana and we have 2 chances to get our 4th seed or better. Win. Or Purdue win.

It's crazy to me that there is actually a scenario...not probable but not that far fetched...where we have 5 teams hanging "Big 10 Champion 2016" banners.

You know, i get sick of the: But that is still good because that is where Iowa was predicted to finish crowd.

Things change, and when you are in first place controlling your destiny with only 4-5 games left, when you finish that low, YOU BLEW IT!

You did NOT simply finish, "about where we expected to be."

Those type of folks must be hard to live with. Good grief.
