What does Harbaugh do with his QB spot? I don't think Alex Smith is under contract any longer and they have the 7th round pick in the draft..

He's got to draft someone you'd think. Mallett, Gabbert or Locker would be my guess. Unless he tries to hold off and snag Luck next year

that would require him to be the worst team next year, luck will not lose any draft stock next year. he will do just fine.

Kinda thinking they finish with a top ten pick and mortgage the farm to move up to #1.

The 49ers were a decent QB and a competent coach away from winning 9 this year. They have good talent on both sides of the ball. If they can get a veteran QB in free agency like Donovan McNabb, Carson Palmer, or Vince Young, they will be in playoff contention immediately.
