"HALO" Rumor

What the heck this is like the twilight zone! I was just getting ready to rename my two dogs Jamie and Dixon.

Now it appears I may have to call one of them Gregg....
 
If we hire a mid major...it better be Jake from UNI (and I'm really not that in favor of this.)...IF we can't get a established head coach to come here from another university...then it better be Forbes...at least he would be exciting! A fresh start...If any of those guys are hired...I'm done with Iowa bball. I pray this rumor is totally false.

Can we stop with this overly dramatic "If that happens, I am done with Iowa basketball"? There are 16 year old girls who desperately need attention rolling their eyes at that line.
 
Are you going to blindly support this team then? Cause Barta is going to **** up another hire rather quickly here. I have no confidence in his ability to evaluate coaches/sell them.
 
One of the mods at Cyclone Fanatic is saying that Jon has said Barta has 4 interviews this week.

Anyone else see anything like that posted anywhere on this site?

No...maybe he mentioned that rumor this morning on the show though? I didn't get to listen so I have no idea.

Haven't listened to the podcast yet, so I can't say either way. The mod "Mr. Janny" specifically mentioned this site, and said that Jon said it this week (translation: yesterday or today). I called him on it, lets see what happens.

I saw it in a thread within the last couple of days, but I don't believe Jon started that thread or agreed with the comment.
 
I have a bad feeling that Barta is going to botch this hire. If this is truly the best that he can come up with, then Iowa Basketball is in deeper trouble than I originally believed.

When one chooses to make those comments notice the reference to I. Not GHOSTOFBTT so just ignore it man. There aren't any 16 year old girls looking your way anyway.;)
