Haley Fired.... Stanzi Time?

I'm not sure if I want Stanzi making his debut against the Packers. For one, I'd then have to root against him and the fact is he'd probably be the starter in a blow out (though it would then be easier to root for him if the game is a blowout).

On the other hand, the Packers pass defense is meh so he might be able to put up yards though I have hard time seeing him being able to read the Packers blitz packages. Green Bay runs some complicated ones and he had trouble, at times, reading defenses in college.

Its not because its stanzi but it is because he didn't try a different Qb and the Stanzi is all that's left. Its more about the unknown. That maybe stanzi could have done something we won't know and now Todd haley never will

Your answer to this will be if Rick starts this week. I am not saying this was the only reason but I think Piolli and Haley didn't see eye to eye on many things, and the fact that this public display of defiance on sticking with Palko didn't help.

Lets shed some light on this situation, first off todd haley is a bum, good O but bad head coach. Second yes he should have played stanzi, your out of the play offs anyway, so you go to stanzi and say this is your learning curve, there is no pressure to win, just go out and do the best you can and use it as a learning tool, thats what SP wanted but TH didnt like being told what to do and didnt want to give up and didnt think Ricky was ready yet, when your boss tells you to do something and you dont I think it spells fired in any occupation, SP is not an idiot, he knows that 3/4 of your Offense is out hurt, a second qb got hurt, he was willing to accept that but he doesnt like todd haley types, He likes classy, well dressed, professional types. Todd Haley didnt fit the image and didnt play stanzi for experiance like SP wanted. Seems pretty simple to me.
