We all know that the media is fickle, and that Linsanity won't last forever.
So what's next?

I'm going with with Yu Darvish. We'll all be experiencing "Yuphoria"

The Ginga Ninja when he leads an unprecedented run through the B1G tournament and the NCAA.

Lin-Sanity, the craze, won't last forever. But I do think Lin is here to stay.

As for Darvish, I think he's probably going to flop.

Rumor has it that Derrick Williams might use a lion as a prop to dunk over in the slam dunk competition. Maybe they will show him dunking on every episode of SportsCenter like they do for Blake Griffin.:D

D-Will = "Will Power" ?! ;)

Props in the dunk competition suck.

The whole contest is sort of lame.

But if you remember, Griffin dunking over the hood of a car was THE COOLEST THING EVER. Now every time he dunks he makes it on SportsCenter.

I love Griffin but I hated that dunk. I thought he was going to jump over the roof of the car, which would have been epic as it would have risked serious injury but instead it was just the hood, which pretty much any NBA player who can dunk could do.

A lot of Japanese players haven't been that good, exception being Ichiro. Darvish is a little different than most players that have come over. First of all, he is physically bigger being half-Iranian (believe it or not). I think he is about 6'5''. I have seen him pitch on TV here in Japan and he is a more of an aggressive pitcher than a lot of the Japanese pitchers who throw a lot of junk when they get ahead in the count. I think he will do all right for awhile if his arm holds up (unlike Matsuzaka).
