Grown up and realistic expectations

So if you were a major booster or Athletic Director at Iowa, what would be your realistic long term expectations for this program be? What level of winning would be meets expectations, exceeds expectations or is below expectations. And what level of volatility is acceptable?

I think it gets discussed every year. Some are content with at least a 7-5 record and a bowl game because IA could revert to pre-Hayden IA. Others expect a 10-2 record because of Parker's D and their STs.

I just want IA going forward to aim to be a top 4-5 team in the new, exanded B1G and get into the new playoffs once every 4-5 years.
