I'll support whoever Iowa puts on the mat but I sure would love to see Brody get a shot this Sunday v Purdue. Kelly's intense and tough but let's see if Brody can supply even more at 49.

Hopefully Brody goes Sunday v lopouchanski. He's ranked 13 and Tessari is 14th so we'll have a good gage on Kelly and Brody.
I'm fine with Kelly. Sure Grothus has big move potential, but it's also very risky. Kelly has improved a ton since last year, and is actually wrestling pretty good. His only losses are to Oliver, Kindig and Tessari (and let's face it, the coaches failed him on this one).

i usually agree with ya pump, but this time i dont. kelly failed himself by giving up three first period takedowns and focusing to much on hand fighting and not leg attacks. i for one wouldnt mind seeing grothus...

I think we'll see Grothus today. Hope he runs w/ the opportunity. Not sure how many he'll get, but this would be a great win for him if he can get it.

I like what we saw out of him tonight. The whole Ohio St blog was about how slow and UNaggressive we looked. Brody goes out and at least goes after the 13th ranked dude. Deserves a further look IMO!
