I have been out for awhile and haven't seen him play much lately. Did he get hurt or just passed up on the depth chart?

He has had 8-10 carries since his injury. He hits the LOS fast and has good feet and moves but not quite reading the blocks and finding the holes all the time. IF he puts on weight he could be very good or if he has great hands he might make a great receiver.

He's a true frosh and still very green although he had a little injury but needless to say he was passed up on depth chart too.

Not too good at reading the blocks, needs to hang with Coach Doyle for a while, and needs to work on his receiving skills.
But has shown pretty decent vision in receiving kicks.

They need to find ways to get the guy in motion, putting him in the slot or getting him out wide. See his strengths and put them to use. The guy has speed but he's obviously not ready between the tackles.

I agree he needs to gain some weight and I think he runs a little too upright, his patience needs to improve as well. He took some good shots in the MSU game where I think the added weight would have helped. He is still young and has some good potential and like what I have seen so far. I really think he can be good in the return game.

Hes not ready, not even close. With a normal stable of RB's hes without a doubt redshirting.

That ship sailed when Canzeri, Hill, Bullock, etc., all dealt with injuries. Even had Weisman been used at RB earlier, Garmon would still have been used. The question would become whether or not Malloy would have to burn a shirt, as well, or Canzeri be "forced" to burn the 'shirt...or if Nate Meier becomes a RB for the rest of the season.

I like Garmon as pass catching threat but he has really struggled in pass protection. That really has limited his playing time and probably will continue to. He has a lot of promise for the long term though. He's similar to Bullock in a lot of ways and should be able to develop into a similar player.
