Greg garmon rushing yards

Should Iowa go back to grass? Seems they have had numerous injuries where players get their foot caught in the turf. If McCall and Hill would have been on grass, would the injury still have happened? I don't remember any significant knee or ankle injuries on the good old green stuff. It seemed they all were hurt on away games or in the bubble.

The turf is actually less likely to cause knee injuries than grass. Back when we had grass we had a ton of ACL injuries. There were three in one year, all to RB's (in 2004, I think). Albert Young tore two ACL's, Hampton's first ACL was during the grass days.

Yeah Robinson and Wegher hated turf. Main reason for leaving that's what someone's brothers uncles nephew once told me.

Between 222 and 666 depending on injuries to other players.

If there are not significant injuries to other players, I expect Garmon to get 5 or 6 touches a game to get him experience. If there are injuries, that number goes way up, but the play by play production is about the same. He will break some nice runs, but will give up huge chunks by getting tackled behind the line of scrimmage.

Based on about 150 touches for The season, gsrmon will have 651 all purpose yards. even these meager stats will satisfy me, j Don't ask for much :)

Type of playing surface had nothing to do with McCall's injury, it was the hit/undercut plus was really wet out that game. What led him to transfer, we all got our opinions.

I had a dream last night that Garmon ran for 238 yrds and 2 TDs in a game. I don't remember the opponent though, but look out for it.
