Once we get a recruit in for a visit, we usually end up in their final list. I think we are very good at selling our program.

Since OSU may be trying to get into the picture here. It's important to remember that OSU is still be investigated by the NCAA. That their intial findings only covered the 'tat5" incident and it's cover up. Not all the evidence of malfeasance(see the SI Article, ESPN articles, and the "Columbus Dispatch" articles). There's a good deal out there that the NCAA is only beginning to look at. Something for recruits to consider given the resulting penalties levied by the NCAA may impact them.

Garmon is planning on the Northwestern game for his official visit to Iowa.
He's not announcing until Jan. 2 at the Marine all-American game.

This might be true if they were actually going to be punished, but it doesn't appear that they will be.
