He's the only guy on the staff to ever experience an undefeated season and win a National Championship. Even KF said when asked what he told the team after the game...."I wasn't sure what to say because I've never been 12-0". It's rarified air to be undefeated, but to have an OC who's been thru it will help immensely because he's a guy who can tell the players, "I've gone undefeated....I've won the Nat'l Championship....I know what you guys are going thru right now and I can get you all the way there."
He certainly had a rough start to his tenure, but now that we're where we're at, he's going to be a guy this staff and players will lean on.
