Greg Castillo's dad fired by the Eagles

Saw this.. was gonna post on it.

I always liked that video feature on Juan Castillo and how he got involved in coaching..
 
This surprised me as the Eagles defense has been pretty good overall this year. Vick can't stop turning the ball over, so they fire the d coordinator? Money talks, Castillo walks.

Im guessing papa Castillo has a fat bank roll and will find another job. I wouldn't be to worried about it if I was greg.
 
I think Andy Reid picked up his phone and dialed the wrong extension number on this decision.

His defense looks like the only bright spot. #13 scoring defense, even though the Eagles kickoff coverage team is giving their opponents the best starting field position of any team in the league.

Offense is ranked #31. Vick is terrible this year.

I agree and thought this was a really strange move. Reid did say something about this was only the beginning. Maybe the OC is next. But in reality the next move needs to be Vick, but then they would have to start Nick Foles and I'm not sure that would be a good thing.

in all seriousness, was Greg a great DC? probably not. but he's definitely not the problem. will be interesting to see what other "changes" are in store.
