They don't make huge $alaries because they can play football. They make huges Salaries because so many people will PAY to see them play football.

And I'm not talking about gate admission. Everything comes back to the popularity of the game. The huge TV contracts wouldn't exist unless they could sell ads based on... you got it... the number of people watching.

People pay money to see them play football, not to acknowledge them.
