An NBC Sports site had the following to say:
"LaDainian Tomlinson managed just 17 yards on eight carries in the Jets' preseason opener Monday night.
Shonn Greene started and had 26 yards on five carries. L.T. had a 14-yard reception and a touchdown called back after a nice run-after-catch play, but was pedestrian at best on his carries. While it looks like he'll be a passing-down asset, there's no way the Jets will be able to consistently give Tomlinson carries as long as Greene is healthy.
