Greendale football player Peter Pekar has accepted an invitation to walk on at Iowa, Panthers coach Rob Stoltz confirmed.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound player was recruited to play tight end for the Hawkeyes. He caught 27 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns this past season for Greendale, which finished 6-4 and reached Level 2 of the playoffs.
