PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE will the so called "New Kirk" leave things alone and not put Canzeri back in as starter....he is not even CLOSE to the back Wadley is...nor the threat. I am deathly afraid that his old "Loyal" ways will bury Wadley on the bench...or at the the very least, cut his carries in half. Sorry, but Wadley has earned himself the starting job...just the way it is.
Great to have depth at RB, but.......

Don't care who starts, they both needs to get plenty of carries. They've both earned carries, and they both will play.
Which of these backs gets the workload, a pretty good problem to have.
4 pretty good options at RB.

I think Wadley has earned respect....he is not better than canzeri. More potential perhaps but in the past two weeks he has one 65 yard run..and...what else. Yes he can pop a big one...he will get his chances. We are actually MORE dangerous with canzeri...Wadley and Daniels as the bull. Throw in Mitchell as a sub and occasional third down or other back....dangerous. This is a good problem to have. I'd say the competition canzeri excelled against..leading the big ten in rushing and tds is better work than Wadleys work against two of the poorer defenses in the big ten. Not to take anything from Wadley I like him and want him to be a contributer...but it's insulting to canzeri who led the big ten in rushing against better competition to say Wadley is better.

I think a 3 way split at this point makes a ton of sense. Canzeri is the definite 3rd down back as his hands and experience in the passing game are excellent. Leshun is the power back when you need a yard or a goaline carry. Wadley is your "scatback"

Wadley is more explosive outside of the tackles, Canzeri is better running inside as a small back and is a complete back...Iowa is much less predictable with Canzeri lined up in the backfield given his pass catching ability and pass pro (for his size)

Yes indeed. A great problem and I think the staff leans a little to canzeri if 100% but now realizes that we NEED them all. All will be kept busy and sharp. Wadley will NOT go back to being buried. If he pops a big run...wanna bet he gets more carries that game? He will. Good to keep him hungry AND satisfied. Extra year...wow..talk about an offense for the ages.....wow. King comes back and we are preseason top 5

Our screen plays to canzeri were pure gold. I'm definitely looking forward to his return. He only makes us better.

If Canzeri is healthy, he's the most 'all around' back Iowa has right now. When he is in, teams can't cheat on tendencies the way they can with Wadley (who is not a pass blocker) or Mitchell (who is in mostly on passing plays). He's also faster than Daniels.

Would agree Jon this is a good thing... Canzeri is best overall back... having both Canzeri, Wadley, and Daniels healthy gives us lots of options.

Canzeri and Wadley should be the main 2.
I still think Wadley has the most pure talent and potential.
Daniels is okay - serviceable when you need him but in a zone scheme he just doesn't have that one cut ability.
