Fabulous, clutch win. We needed that one.

Yeah 999 out of 1000 times he makes that catch no problem. We just got lucky, nothing clutch about it.
I'd say Indiana was fairly fortunate that Iowa had the ball at the ten or better four times and got no touchdowns.
And lousy teams find a way, too. Indiana did it yet again today. We had nothing to do with it.
Iowa scoring more points had nothing to do with it?

Our defense did NOTHING to stop the final drive. At least Indiana actually made plays to stop us in the redzone. We just got lucky.
You could also say that Indiana got lucky. Iowa had three red zone trips in the 1st half and only had two field goals.
They won the game. It still counts.
Indiana covered our receivers and stuffed the few rushing attempts we made inside the 10. They made plays to FORCE us into settling for field goals. Our defense didn't FORCE them into 0 points that final drive.
Fine. Complain about Iowa playing their worst game of the year, and still being able to sack up enough at the end to pull it out of the fire.
Apparently you're gonna have to go root for another team as this one just isn't good enough for you. When this isn't the first time the defense has either failed or all but done so. They're essentially 1-4 in those situations this year. They weren't the whole reason that we almost lost today, but when our philosophy is to lean on the defense, we can't afford to have a defense that isn't making the clutch stop consistently.
