Great game plan Ken

Michigan and Northwestern can rack up 30 plus points and you get shut out. This is a beatable Nebraska team and you get 6 first downs and less than 100 yards offense. When are you going to be held accountable?

WE'RE NOT NORTHWESTERN!!!

Persa, Colter and Siemian are all better than Vandenberg. Jacob Schmidt is better than Coker. Ebert is better than Coker. Dunsmore is better than Fiedorwicz. The only place we are better than Northwestern is on the sideline - the braintrust running our squad is the best in the B10.

Please people.....do us all a favor and leave if all you do is whine....you sound like you know nothing....and you don't

When you are getting all your yards out of one player, you need to try to keep him fresh. So, long drives work against that. Better to get a couple of first downs and punt. Otherwise, Coker will be gassed and not be able to get every yard. Brilliant coaching if you ask me.

Hint: Read sarcasm.

The only thing worse than the IA offensive scheme is the IA defensive scheme. We seemingly never make a 3rd down stop. And NEVER make a 4th down stop

I had no problem with the game plan. Coker ran the ball well, Vanderberg blew *** 16/35 gets you beat with lombardi game plan.

Maybe if O'Keefe would have used a few different plays than the seven he uses most games.

Maybe if Ferentz had any passion whatsoever and the ability to establish a gameplan, other than what he has been using for the past 11 years. The man has no idea how to change anything, nor will he. He will change no coaches because they are all best friends and he values his friends more than the Iowa football program.

with a 10-year $4,500,000 contract the man is doing nothing and laughing all the way to the bank knowing Iowa can do nothing about even if they wanted to. Ferentz holds all the cards and he is not about to change one card...he will just continue making excuses...we are too young, that's football, and on and on and on.

The last 1 1/2 years have been absolutely pathetic. He has taken a diamond in the rough and turned that diamond into a mass of fragments.

Ohhh, but many on here will tell us how successful the year was because we get to go to some pi$$ant bowl and Ferentz, O'Keefe, and Norm can work their magic. Too bad they don't try working a little magic during the season.

Put Ferentz in a big game and he has no idea what to do...put him in a rivalry game and he curls up in ball with his conservatism. I would bet that man is afraid to walk home at night by himself...

Dude, you really need to get kok's **** out of your mouth, a monkey could game plan better than that tool and if you think NWs skill position players are better than Iowa's you need to get Fitz's **** out of your a$$

He's not an Iowa fan. He just comes on this site to screw with people and get a rise, which he is clearly accomplishing. Once you realize he is a DB and stop arguing with him, you will be much happier.

^Guess what dude, they were able to score 28 on Nebraska. Iowa's caveman offense ain't cutting it.

could not agree more. offense is awful and changes need to be made. In 1977 our offense may have been state of the art, kind of like a plymouth roadrunner. Now, it is very very stale as jon states, and he is exactly right.

Going into this game we had the qb with the most passing yards in the Big 10, wr with the most receiving yards, and rb with the 2nd most rushing yards and we can't score until 3 minutes left in the game? Truly, truly pathetic. And what even makes it worse is the defense played well enough for us to win.
