First off let me say I really wish there was a way I could listen to Ironside at the home meets. I love listening to him on the radio!!!

McDonough gets a B-/C+. He was a bit off and struggled against a pretty good wrestler. Maybe it was the road trip but definately not himself. No worries I think he rebounds nicely this weekend.

Dennis gets a C-/D+. Another wrestler that was not himself and struggled with a taller wrestler that did NOTHING!

Marion gets a A-/B+. Hope he gets his swagger back and wrestles like he is capable of. We will need him at Ohmaha.

Metcalf gets a SOLID A. He is amazing and he will be missed in our lineup next year!!

Kerr gets a A-. He might have just earned the starting spot with that match and his recent win over Sanderson. I think Janssen will get 1 more shot at the spot but I look for Kerr to be the guy.

Morningstar gets a C. Still needs to do more but as long as he keeps winning I don't care how he does it.

Borschel gets a A-. The only reason he doesn't get a A is due to possibly leaving some points out on the mat. I will guarantee that he wasn't happy with that match.

Keddy gets a B+. Nice match for Phil he might have faided a bit at the end but a Solid match for him and he needs more matches like this.

Lofthouse gets a B+. He is getting better each time out and this mat time really helps him for his future.

Danimal gets a .......... No match for him had to stink but he'll get a nice test come Sunday in Berhow who is a solid hwt.

Team gets a B. Road trip hurt a few of the kids but all in all not to shabby. Can't wait for this weekend and those pesky rodents!!!
 
boys are gonna have to wrestle a lot better out of the gate so minn. doesn't get on a role

mcd will have a tough match with sanders and dennis match is huge!
 
Tom will have them ready for the rodents..just my opinion this trip was good for the team..Phil's home town they could relax and still win ..is long long grinding season need a break in it and think this was why some did not wrestle up to their best..is hard to be all pumped up for every one but we will be ready have faith in the staff ..
 
Got home earlier today. Great environment there for Phil, had to be really special for him. My money says Phil is coaching at UVU next season.

Some of the guys did look a little off, but the team trained harder than they've trained all year last week. That may be a reason for some looking less than themselves.

I have to eat crow on Joe Slaton. Seems that minds were not able to be changed, much to everyone involveds chagrin. I was told authorities whom could settle the matters "hands were tied". It's truly a shame and those that matter feel that the situation was handled unfairly, but again, "hands are tied". Supposedly there's still a chance, but i've given up hope.

The team will have a much lighter week of practice this week and will be raring to go this weekend.
