Wow. That's not even a very dark maroon. That's definitely black. When did Minnesota decide their colors were black and gold? Here's the school's official colors: "The official colors of the University of Minnesota are maroon and gold. To promote the University's brand, use maroon and gold as the predominant colors in designs for print and the Web. The Golden Eagle logo uses the same gold and the one-color option can be printed in maroon, gold, black or white as well."
Where does that say "black" other than you can print the Golden Eagle logo in black? How does that even happen? Don't schools have approved colors they're allowed to use in the conference?
