Some around here lose their minds when Kirk wins 9 games with what four 4* players on the entire roster? USC didn't make a bowl last year and won 8 games this year with like 40+ 4* players or better.
Meanwhile Miami FL just lost an ugly ass game 14-0 against Louisiana Tech.
Just makes you appreciate good coaching more.

That's what I love. Some comment "oh, the 5* kids are gonna wreak havoc against Iowa and their no* kids", gtfo. Iowa is competitive with anyone. I hope we just take it to them and never look back.

If star ratings meant everything, Nicholas Baer and Diamond Stone wouldn't be playing in the same G league.
I'm sure our receivers will be tested, but they also have some upper class experience. Nate just has to find them, which is another story. He hit enough throws against Mississippi State for the win.
What concerns me is a USC starter going down and the second stringer coming in and having a breakout, or even career game. That has burned us more than once against PAC teams in bowl games.
