Our national title hopes were shot down tonight. But two good things come out of this. We don't have to worry about ratings at all... no watching Boise State, TCU, etc. AND we only have to worry about what truly matters... standings!
We get Ball State for a hang over game and hopefully don't pull a V' Tech on this, and then bring on the Big Ten season.
Thought is was very unclassy for Arizona fans to chant overrated and throw drinks at the Hawkeye players... The good teams don't do that. I can't remember the last time Iowa fans chanted overrated to a team as the game was finished. Additionally, kind of stupid to do when a hail mary could have beat you! Can you imagine, Ohio State, Florida, Texas, etc chanting that? But no matter... they are new to this and very excited to be talking smack. Good coaching by Stoops, more crying than one would expect out of a Hawkeye. Good Luck to AZ the rest of the way through this season.
Iowa did a tremendous job to recover and get back in the game. I just hope this upset doesn't linger on their minds long. You lost... get over it... move along. Very upset tonight... it will be hard to sleep.
