Good luck to you Mclane Carter

For those that didn't see the graduate transfer qb that joined Rutgers from Texas Tech retired from football today citing continued medical issues from the concussion he received in the Iowa game this year as his reason. Mclane transferred to Rutgers in the off-season, won the starting qb job, did well in week 1, got knocked out in week 2 vs the hawks, and just hasn't really recovered I guess. He retired today from college football. Good luck young man. God bless you and your family. Here's hoping you heal up well and find a path other than this one to journey down where you can use the vast array of non-football related talents and skills God has given you to be a blessing to others.

For those scoring at home, this comes after the coach was fired after 4 games, and then the new starting qb and the starting rb asked to redshirt before the 5th game to save eligibility.

Can Jim Delaney rectify this mistake before he leaves office and Rutgers gets full revenue shares?

Wonder if he has a history of concussions prior to the hit he received vs. Iowa. I mean lets be honest signing with Rutgers as a grad transfer may have been the first indication that something wasn't quite right.
