Good luck in the NIT guys

I post on all the boards of BIG teams. I was being serious, good luck in the NIT.

If this is the case, then good luck getting laid dude.....Maybe less time trolling online, and more time around real girls might quiet those voices in your head.

He's not trolling. He just knows that Bo Ryan is in the twilight of his success and he can sympathisize with our fans, even though our programs are on different trajectories.

Take a compliment as a compliment, I say.

Keep on wishing and hoping and praying that prediction comes true because hoping, wishing and praying are going to be the only chances that it does.

I am going to take activebadger at his word -- once you get to The Dance, you cheer for the B1G team (well, unless it is Michigan State) -- and will even wish Bo "The Vulture" and his prize capture, the Brust varmint, well.

Likewise, AV, thanks for the thoughts about the NIT.

There's always next conference season...

I admit I root for the B1G schools once the tournament starts. B1G schools doing well in the NCAA makes me feel better about Iowa for some reason.

I know where you are coming from. I mean, yeah, you had a player that was in your program defect from the team and go to another school in the same conference, but he went back to his home state, so I wouldn't read too much into that.

And, sure, your coach may have looked a bit like a whiney school girl about the whole thing, but can you really blame him? I mean, if I were BO I'd be kind of ****** at a player that left the program for an in-conference rival, not because its another crack in the wall or shows that kids want to play up-tempo ball or what-have-you, but because of loyalty, you know?

And, sure, the league's officiating is going to change to follow the paths of Indiana's and Michigan's athletic teams and will start calling the handchecking and bodying that get called in other conferences, but that won't really affect Wisconsin, right?

They will still be just fine. Like I said, I don't think Wisconsin will collapse or anything.

Said Illinois fans regarding Bruce Weber circa 2005....

Said Minnesota fans regarding Tubby circa 2008....

Said by Indiana fans stating Wisconsin's dominance over the Hoosiers was coming to an end....

The list goes on and on and on and on

Clearly you are a student of the game!

I think you're very own Jon Miller picked us at what 6th or 7th this year? Sound about right?

And by the way, I'm not slamming the Hawkeyes as you'll note if you read rather defending a program that needs no defense. It's stood the test of time. Only programs with more consecutive NCAA appearances that UW are MSU and Kansas. You know, blue bloods.

Why are you so defensive? You wished us luck and I wished you luck.

What is with the inferiority complex? You guys know you will be a decent program for the foreseeable future.

Exactly. That's why you have nothing to fear from lil' ole' Iowa or anybody else in the B1G. You guys are set. No worries.

There isn't any shortage of pretty-decent athletes that like your style of ball. You're kewl....

You are doing exactly what he set his trap to accomplish. It's really simple

All I am doing is wishing well to a fellow conference fan. It's not my fault that he is defensive about the future of his program. Like I said, they should be pretty-OK for the foreseeable future.

I don't get posters who are fans of other teams but go onto a rival's website looking for validation. Doesn't make sense to me.

I know bud and to any other visitor you'd be doing the right thing and many other posters would send the same sentiments. He isn't being serious as much as he can act like he is with his cutely worded post...

haha, stupid inbred hick.

Please don't and **** off. Thanx.

Guys, guys, guys.... settle down.

I know it could be perceived as a slight if read sarcastically and I don't have a lot of experience with AB, but he seems like the "real deal" and is just here to wish us well.

Actually, come to think of it, it is pretty big of AB to come here and wish us well, knowing that we've got a player on our team that was formerly fully-enrolled in Madison and that we have beaten them 75% of the time over the last couple of years.
