Hawkeye Nation is killing it this year! First all the posters convince Kirk to change. Then Jon convinces the committee to move Iowa up.
 
I don't envy Jon one bit. Part of owning this website is listening to the crap some of these idiots say or write.

heather dinich tweeted that a 13-0 Iowa wouldn't jump osu. If that wasn't such a stupidly sad statement, it'd be funny.

ive listened to her on ESPN before this tweet. What do they see in her? She's an absolute idiot. She brings less than zero to the table.

go find a job outside of sports heather. You are making yourself look foolish and bringing embarrassment to those who know you.
 
ESPN has started to provide us with WWE updates. That's right, they're reporting on staged sports. Is it any wonder that they are also trying to stage college football? The SEC is Ric Flair and the rest of us are trying to keep up.

I couldn't find a tweet like that on her feed. I did find "Look, I would put an undefeated Iowa in. Exhale, and buy me a new hat."
 
I laughed more at the "don't get high on your own supply" instant reaction, but this one was good, too. Also, I agree with Jon in that this vote could have been a correction. Regardless of what Herby and all the others say, Iowa's strength of schedule amongst all P5 undefeated teams is second only to Clemson. It was higher than OSU's and MSU's last week, but they were both rated higher. Also, I think, as most of us did, that the committee thought there was a good chance we could lose at IU. Remember, the committee has Osborne and Alvarez on it. Those two probably know the B1G, pretty well, and let folks know it was a possibility.

Ok, she wrote an article and others sent out tweets.

She said if Iowa went 13-0 they're not guaranteed to get in the playoff because the committee has a one loss noted dame in there now.

she's way out of her league at this point is all I'm saying.

It looks like she said that Iowa going undefeated could still get picked below ND. Which is true. The thing that is hard for her to understand is that they are not playing for ND's spot, they are playing for OSU's.

It is good for Iowa that the committee clearly still sees OSU as the champs.

Although I agree with Iowa is playing for the Buckeyes place in the final four, I find it hard to buy that Notre Dame would remain in front of Iowa if Iowa does in fact go 13-0. Our schedule will be harder after beating OSU. Notre Dame played one less game. We would have a win over a top four team. Notre Dame cannot win a conference championship. ETC. I definitely have the anxiety I think we all are feeling from the possibility that a 13-0 Iowa team would be screwed but I tend to feel more like Iowa would be safe and the struggle may be more of Notre Dame vs. OSU or OKLA St. OSU may carry the clout needed to take the fourth spot with a late loss against a top four Iowa team. If the Big Ten title game is a 1-4 point difference with our Hawkeyes winning we may see some very interesting things in the last CFP poll.
