Because Mike was possible the worst player on the floor in the first half, 1/6 with 3 TO's. Fran didn't want to play Dickerson, MG just once again gave him no choice to pull him off the floor.

Mike is our PG he needs to be allowed to play through it. Fran took him out right after he hit a 3. Tell me another B1G team that sits their PG that long....NONE

It's the PG you're examining, right? More important than points, what's Gesell's assist record? I've read where MG scored the last 16-so points for Iowa. Watching the game on the B1G network was next to impossible with the transmission interference from West L. How many assists did he have in that period? In the game? Should MG be moved from the point to shooting guard so the offense can run more smoothly?

Considering he's a terrible shooter, I would say no, he should not be to SG, but then again all our other SG's are bad shooters too, so I don't know.

Well there's only one other B10 team with a pg this bad, that's probably why the other teams' play their pgs more.

Mike wasn't getting it done in the 1st half. He was allowed to play through it IMO and it wasn't happening. He played great in the 2nd half.

It should be noted that Clemmons also had a good game. Clemmons is 7/13 from 3 over the last 5 games. He's 6/8 over the last 3 games.
