How'd that level of competition thing work for Kansas?? And Gonzaga hadn't played near the strength of schedule as Iowa either.

I guess it just drives me crazy that guys dismiss the quality of a team because they don't play in a power conference.

Nobody is dismissing the quality of their team, just their inflated seed. Also Gonzaga and UNI are not one of the same. Gonzaga would run UNI out of the gym

I was rooting for UNI but it was obvious early on that they just couldn't physically match up with Louisville. UNI was a good mid major team this year, but shouldn't have been ranked anywhere near the top 10.

Yip, but I think most around here realize this. UNI would be a middle of the pack 8, 9 or 10 seed if they played in the B1G, Big12, Pac12, ACC, Big East. They are for sure a tourney quality team, but they would take their lumps and lose their share of conference games.

I've said all year they were a legit top 25 team so a 5 seed was about right for them. Never did I believe they were a top 10 team.
