Go Panthers!!!

I will be rooting for UNI. Would love to see them beat Pitino's bunch. And now that Villanova and Virginia are out they would have a legitimate shot at getting to the final 4.

I have them losing this round. I hope they lose and my bracket recovers a bit. Need Oregon to win too that would be a big help.

Fran think Tuttle like recruit. That was a pretty move for two on that drive to the basket. go panthers

UNI really struggling with Louisville's quickness and athleticism so far...

And there lies the rub......it's what we've been saying all along, level of competition....Plus, there are too many kids just standing around and are afraid for some reason....hopefully, the 2nd half is better for them....Jacobson is very good regarding halftime adjustments....Go Panthers....

How'd that level of competition thing work for Kansas?? And Gonzaga hadn't played near the strength of schedule as Iowa either.

I guess it just drives me crazy that guys dismiss the quality of a team because they don't play in a power conference.

Wichita State, Gonzaga, and UNI are fantastic teams. But the point is they are all massively ahead of the rest of their conferences. Those teams can play with/beat anyone almost any given night, but in the ACC, B1G, PAC, Big East, SEC, they would struggle to get the seeds they get. They are outlier teams.

I think Mid majors have proven they can be very quality teams. What I don't think is fair is that they play such soft schedules, that they earn 2 seeds higher than they deserve. Put Gonzaga in the B1G or Big12 and they have quality years, but probably end up a 3-5 seed, not a 2 seed, as they lose several games in a tougher conference.

Running out of time.

That blocked fast break was killer. Would have cut it to 4, instead Lou comes down and pushes it back to 8.

Well, games over. Thank you Iowa and UNI for representing the state well. The highest rated Iowa team playing the lowest seeded team dropped a turd just like they always do but at least the nation knows there's two good teams in Iowa.
