I am tired of the mentality of the program and its fans. WE ARE IOWA!! Not we are just little ole iowa. As for fans, read the posts around here. I dont want to go 1-3 or2-2 or whatever over the next 4. I want to win them all. I expect to win them all. Face it a team with no o at all just walked in to our house and beat us, why? Because they outworked us. It is that simple. A very low ranked o just bent over our decent d. We knew their d would slow us down, but one of the worst o's in a major conf just had it's way with us.
 
I am also out to win them all. I say it is best to go into any game with confidence that you can win if you work hard. When I have been on teams that believe they will lose it usually becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. So let's go in believing in ourselves and do our best to win every game on the schedule!
 
I'm tired of what KF is mustering up. The stench isn't from his alimentary canal, it's from the product he's putting on the field. That's some high priced stink he's producing.
 
I'm tired of seeing the innovation of offensive football around the country while at the same time our team is considering not even returning punts anymore.
 
I love the mentality olddude, and o think the Hawks will give the effort. That said...we are going to need a few bounces and play/execute/tackle/game plan much better than we have for over three years to have a chance against OSU or NW.
 
lol we lose to 2 good teams, 1 of which we werent manhandled, one we pretty much were, and the sky is falling again? Give me a break. Are we world beaters? FAR from it. Are we a POS team? Even farther from that. One could argue had he gotten the calls we should have lat week, it could have been a very different game. I mean come on....lets be a little more level headed

What calls would you be referring to?
No, we are not a POS team (yet) We are, however, very average, and probably working our way to the ISU program level. (where the goal every year is 6-6 and a crappy bowl berth)
 
powell getting hid helmet ripped off for 1, and vandenberg getting tackled 5 yards out of bounds for another. thats just off the top of my head

Those plays cost Iowa the game?? I thought maybe Iowa rushing for about 15 yards in the game had something to do with it.

The kick to the head happened on a critical 3rd down play, that could have easily have resulted in points. He he would have been ejected as he should have been that might have had a negative impact on their D the rest of the game. Their corners could have been called for holding or interference on just about every play, potential points there. They had several late hits that were not called, more drives could have been kept alive. Or if their D had been made to play clean more of Iowa's offense wound have worked. On offense they held LTP on just about every play he was destroying the guy he was going against. If those had been called there would have been a lot more hurries and less pass completions. There is the potential for a 14 point swing.
 
Well even if they were mugging our receivers, thats how the game was being called. You dont respond by giving their receivers a 5 yard window. That window and inability to be in the right position is why our lb's have more int's. It is sad. Just sad. If that is the best we have, better get the young ones some pt, because they wont have those lb's to help them out as much next year. SAD.

I agree with you I expect 100% out of our players and want them to win them all to. But Michigan St has one hell of a defense. I'm like you I still feel like we should have won the gm. Coach Ferentz is so damn conservative we had 33 seconds left before halftime and all three timeouts and he kneels on the damn ball I don't understand that
