Little off topic. Hope the stars align. Working on a deal that would put me home around the time of this game. So every other year i might be able to be the 12th man outside the stadium. I agree with gerry d, 80,000 inside and ??????# outside. Be nice to make this a night game and my deal would need to work out, but who knows.

I was pleased last weekend not only to see the Hawks halt the downward slide but to see them play with some heart. I expected the possibility that the Michigan State game could be a downward slide like last year. So having seen two games where the Hawks are fighting hard, I fully expect a good contest this weekend.

Agreed. I mentioned in another thread how I thought it felt like OSU 2010 or Pitt 2011 in there for the OT period. Not quite Wisky 2010 levels yet, but approaching it. I'd like to get back to that level again tho; and might as well start this wkend. Go Hawks!

How many people does 8 pounds of wings and pounds of brats feed? What is your beverage of choice?
Oh the wings are just an appetizer. 12-15 I suppose. Crown, bloodies (with 5 times distilled), some wine for the gals(and whatever else my wife chooses), and ofcourse beer, maybe some patron.
The deal i am working on puts me in IC with atleast 3 sides of beef (raised all natural). Demand is there, working on logistics and if i can get 3 from the supplier. All i am looking to do is have good beef and supplement my cost of the trip.

I usually make fun of you for obvious reasons, but there is so much good stuff going on here to ignore. I actually find myself wanting to tailgate with you to see how the legend rolls.
just a prole who likes what he likes. Dont worry everybody likes to make fun of me. I just like to cook, drink a bit and make sure those around me are comfortable and have a good time. I go for quality not quantity. I usually do it 3 or 4 times a year and sometimes its 10-20 people but once and awhile it gets up to 30-40. Then we go for ribs or pulled pork with poppers, some shrimp and other appetizers. Wife used to own a restaurant so it all goes pretty well.
Like i said, i will see if i can work it so i can get a spot next time wisky is in town.
what kind of space can a guy get? For how much $?
Btw the beef is to bring back for family and friends. Not throwing that big of a party.

I do not care about outside ramifications of this game....I just am excited to take on the Badgers again, and hope the crowd in Kinnick will watch the BTN showing of the 1985 Iowa vs Michigan game to see how loud 66k can get. I really think the old electricity will be back in the house Saturday, with a good number of Badger fans adding to the chaos. No fighting, please!....but be loud as hell!
