"Get in the hole" guy

Am I the only one that wants to punch that guy square in the mouth? Every time Tiger makes a put attempt this guy feels a need to yell, even if the put doesn't come within 8 ft of the pin. Please people don't be that guy.

Then again I have a much shorter fuse than most. I need to work on my patience and rage. I will count to 10 now...

The guy yesterday that yelled at Keegan Bradley. "You're not Tiger" was one of the worst ones that I've ever heard.

Yeah, these screamers are idiots. All they have to do is put something on the ticket and the ticket ordering website that says "any yelling or noisemaking deemed unsportsmanlike can be cause for ejection from the grounds."

Exactly. It's golf, not the WWE.

Actually, that would be pretty good if after every swing, Tiger would lead the crowd in shouting, "GET IN THE HOLE!" followed by flashing lights and a theme song.

I was at the Bridgestone last year when some dude screamed at Johnson Wagoner on the green during his backstroke, "Pornstachio Lives!!!" The dude ran off down the next fairway before security could get to him. It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen/heard at a professional sporting event. Johnson sank the put, shrugged, and flexed his enormous, obviously juiced bicep as he strolled off the green*.

*the final part is fabricated for the sorry souls who actually think that PEDs aren't pervasive in this sport. Because they are. Look at these guys.

How pervasive are they in soccer?

I would imagine that they're pervasive in soccer. As a matter of fact, I can't imagine a sport where they aren't. Society has to make a choice: are we going to stop liking sports or are we going to accept PEDs?

It seems that people don't want to accept that their sports heros are juiced. Guess what? They are. Almost all of them are in some way, shape or form. Either stop rooting for them or get over it.

I love golf. I love football. I love soccer. I love basketball. I know my favorite performers are on something. Is that unfortunate? Kind of, I suppose. Especially in sports like baseball and golf where statistical barometers are our closest measure of greatness. The lesson to take away is to enjoy the performances on their own terms because the games have changed.

Fans don't have to accept it, but they don't have to stop watching for things to change either. There is no real solution, but l don't think any Professional sport is taking appropriate measures to do anything to remove PEDS from their sports.

They do have to accept it. As long as we pay these athletes hundreds of millions of dollars, the individuals juicing will always benefit more than the enforcers. In other words, it's an incentivized industry wherein the technology of performance enhancement will always trump the testing because the money funnels to the enhanced. Individuals have incentive to juice. Franchises have incentive to bring in the juiced. Leagues have almost no incentive to divert money from the players to the enforcers.

Unless you think that a society-wide boycott is within the realm of possibility, you're just as blind as can be. Juice is here to stay. It has been for 25 years. You just didn't realize it.

How does it feel to be so much smarter than everyone else? Is it pretty cool?
