So the dance is worth risking his health.........but seth53 doesnt think the Nit it worth it?
Seems legit.
A bunch of people giving opinions on something they know little about.
If the doctors say he has very little risk of further injuring his foot- he plays. If the doctors determine it's a risk- he sits.
Because he doesn't have the whole off-season to get better. LOLZ.
Not if he aggravates the hell out of it for no reason. Ask Bill Walton.
I'll defer my judgement to the people who the seriousness of his injury the best; namely the coaching staff and trainers.
Play Gesell as much as he can take and is effective, play May, play Woody, play Olaseni. Treat each game as a championship game, full out balls to the wall. Go as deep as you can, show The Committee they were wrong.
The future is now.
I would never leave that judgment to coaches. It is left to medical staff. However their jobs are dependent on the coach winning.
That said, this injury has a remote chance of being something like Ronnie Lester's injury in career limitations. Rewatching the Final 4 with Lester...couldn't believe how bad off he was.

It's really a shame no medical advances have been made in 40 years.
He was visibly limping during the MSU game.
You call that healed? I don't.
My argument has nothing to do with medical advances. I'm talking about players being pressured to play before everything's healed up and sustaining a life-long injury.
Fran won't send him out there if the doctors don't give him the green light, Captain Hyperbole.
Right on brother! He had to ask Valentine to stop the damn game while he was dribbling the ball up the court after an MSU basket because he aggravated the injury on the defensive end. Do not risk further damage. Hawks played decent ball down the stretch without him in the lineup.
