Gesell in tournament

Mike is no hidden steal for Fran. He is the real deal, as is Woodbury. I don't know enough about the other three Fran has recruited. But to be the number 1 rated point guard in the State of Michigan is no small task. Means the kid has some serious skills coming from a state like Michigan. At 6'10", Meyer is not just a project recruit because he is big. He appears to have some serious skills. Georgia is a populated state with many good players so when Meyer's name crops up with the other names, it means he has many skills. With two good point guards on the team who will play together for the next few years, Iowa's future looks quite bright.

I am anxious to see what kind of players Basabe, Oglesby, and White are going to become when teams are not able to key on them, or double team them. And it will be interesting to see what Fran's teams are really going to look like when Fran has his players on the floor and not Lickliter's. Iowa's future is very bright indeed.

Meyer as been ranked the 4th best instate prospect by Georgia people
Clemmons is considered one of the top 5 players instate by Michigan people
Meyer in my opinion was overlooked because who he played with in Goodwin 5* prospect by all services
the same can be said of who both Ingram and Clemmons constantly playing in the shadow of last years senior class
this is their year to shine and all 3 are doing just that
if the recruiting services would reevaluate they would more than likely be rated higher

They can rate these kids whereever they want... I love the talent that Fran has coming in. In 2 years this roster is going to be loaded.

Nice post, NMH.....

I believe you will be pleased with Ingram and Clemmons also. They are athletic and excellent defenders.....

Things are certainly looking up.....
