Kittle and the whole 49ers blocking schemes are fun to watch, like LA Rams and some other zone blocking teams.
What I first notice about Kittle on this play is that he shoots off the LOS and makes contact and his upper body and legs, his whole frame is at a 45 degree angle into that DEnd and the DEnd doesnt have a chance because the DEnd gets immediately pushed back where his frame is at about 60-70 degrees vertical.
Kittle immediately has the lower pads and leverage as well as the great technique you are talking about where he can steer the tackler with his elbows and shoulders. Fun to watch.
