Gameday at Tucson next week?

Reading this on multiple boards. Apparently Arizona officials (according to a subscriber board) have been contacted about the possibility of Gameday being in town next weekend. The following results would make it a near lock:

USC over Georgia
Oklahoma over FSU

Obviously we have to beat ISU first for this to be a possibility, so the players need not worry about it yet. ;-)

Pretty sure Okie and FSU is this Saturday. If that USC game is the only other marquee game it could certainly be a possibility. Gameday on the west coast kind of sucks, they start at like 7:00 am out there. The crowds are not as big as they are in the central time zone or out east.

Both of those games are this week. But Georgia plays Arkansas next week, and if the Dawgs win tomorrow, it will be a matchup of top 20 teams in the SEC (making it a likely destination for Gameday). Florida State plays BYU next week. That is a possible destination if FSU beats OU. North Carolina and Georgia Tech also play next week (But UNC doesn't have a game this week).

Yes please. That would make the experience all that more enjoyable. It was pretty awesome last year for the PSU game having Gameday out there. Was fun mingling amongst the sea of white and getting boo'd constantly

As the other poster pointed out, for 'Zona vs. Iowa to be on Gameday, South Carolina would have to beat Georgia, and Ok would have to beat FSU. Come on man, read the post.
