ESPN College GameDay to add third hour, Erin Andrews as anchor - ESPN

I agree that a 3rd hour is just too much. But I usually miss the show (season ticket holder), and the 3rd hour being earlier in the day means I have a decent chance of catching it.

Personally, on the days that I'm home, I prefer the BTN pregame coverage that focuses on B10 games.

I'll take Erin for an extra hour vs Lou Holtz rambling and spitting about some crap no one cares about. At least she is easy on the eyes!

The extra hour is on ESPNU so I don't think it's going to change the actual show much.

Erin Andrews will have hosting duties during the first hour and have more stories, I don't think it's that big of a deal.

I haven't watched Gameday in years. Once they decided to add Nick Lachey to their staff, I realized it was a joke. I have found other things to watch on Saturday football mornings. They can add five more hours for all I care.

I think its great. More coverage of my favorite sport. But like others, I rarely get to watch. I'm at every home game, and for the road games I usually have to work Saturday mornings to make up for the home games that I don't work, so I never get to watch. But if I'm stuck at the in-laws some Saturday morning, its a good way to pass 3 hours of time, before 8 more hours of football.

Also, this ends the speculation of Erin Andrew's future. Clearly she is staying on with ESPN.

I tivo gameday and I usually end up watching about 5 minutes of it. Sometimes I fast forward through the whole thing.

You mean thru the USC, Texas & SEC coverage? Ohio St & Michigan used to be in the mix until the Big10 Network. Now they aren't even worthy enough for ESPN.
