Game Time

Gonzaga fans get to settle in and watch the team that's going to knock them out of the tournament.

Also, I'm going to consume a lot of beer. That will be fun.

I really hate how the games are broadcast now. None of the three Iowa teams are on CBS. Used to be, all of these games would be on broadcast TV cause they are local. Now I gotta go find a sports bar......

^^^ I agree but this does give you more games to watch.

What really bothers me about TNT is having to listen to Sir Charles and Kenny whatshisname from the NBA give us a bunch of college talk they just read about on a card. Barkley just loves to spout whatever.

From what i remember Charles and Kenny are just on at halftime...of all the games...regardless of channel

I love how they do it now. I like to choose my own game...much rather see a close game over Kansas killing someone.

Yeah, but going to bars is the best.

Also, your wife should let you get cable. Mine was being lame about adding IFC for $4.95 a month ... but I finally won that battle. I'm sure it will come at a much higher cost.

Here are the broadcasters for Friday. I have no idea who any of these guys are...

I don't care who the announcers are as long as it isn't that Dakich guy. There are two things that really try and spoil the basketball season for me. One is Dakich, and the other is all the North Carolina replays on television. It seems like almost every week there is a North Carolina basketball replay from the past. People will do anything if they can make a buck out of it.

The thing I like about it is that, if Iowa loses, I've at least gotten to enjoy 2 days of basketball. If they played first thing on Thursday and lost, it would ruin the fun, like last year.

My thoughts exactly!

And since ISU plays in one of the first games....wouldn't it be great if they got upset and were out before the tournament barely gets started?

Mike Gminski was a great player at Duke from about 75-1979 before Coach K arrived. He was ACC player of the year and led Duke to a final four championship game they lost to kentucky I believe. A top scorer, rebounder and he had a long NBA career. I am sure he knows his bball.

I cant remember if he is a good TV analyst.

I understand with the internet being new and everything that the thought of watching the game via computer didn't cross your mind....

Anyway, ever game can be streamed live through CBS its been that way for years.

Conclusion, no bar needed just one of those fancy new inventions called the computer.
