Game Time

I was just looking up Tuesday's game and it tips off at noon on Tuesday. Seems awfully strange considering most of us will be working. I'd get it if it were on Wednesday which is New Years Eve but not Tuesday. What's the reasoning for it?

Looks like there's a college basketball marathon on ESPN2 and ESPNU tomorrow. All 4 B1G games will be on ESPN.

11am - Rutgers @ Northwestern (battle for last place)
12pm - Iowa @ OSU
2pm - Illinois @ Michigan
4pm - Maryland @ MSU

I'll take NW, OSU, Mich, Maryland

I just realized how much this could affect the crowd. A lot of students are home and a lot of people will be at work.

Which is great considering Iowa is on the road. Plus add in the fact that many OSUers will be on the way to or at already the playoff game vs Bama. Hopefully this takes away all home court advantage for OSU.

I was as confused as anyone when I saw the tip-off time, but first thought is it helps Iowa more than OSU.

Interesting time.... Have yet to see point spread??? I think this one may be easy money. Ohio State way over rated, we do well against ranked foes on the road.

This is not a game I expect Iowa to win.

Your expectations are aligned with reality.

Iowa will get rolled in much the same way as by TX, ISU, UNI -- decent (surprising?) 1st half of competitive ball and the wheels fall of in the 2nd.

Hawks' only chance is if OSU goes NoCar and shoots like Iowa. Otherwise, it'll be an embarrassment of riches for the Buckeyes from the perimeter.

OSU 84 - Iowa 66

It really sets up as good as it possibly can for us. I sure hope we can take advantage of it. This is either our 2nd or 3rd toughest conference game on our schedule. It would be huge to pull off a W.

Iowa should (should) matchup well against teams who are more focused on their bigs for scoring, such as Wisconsin. However, OSU's top players are the quick athletic guard types that Iowa usually can't hang with.

I think the -6.5 line sounds about right.

I pick Iowa to win this by 8. First off Iowa won there the last time they played. Second o$u lost to North Carolina who Iowa beat. Third Kraft is an overrated hack. Iowa is better.

Iowa 74
O$u suckeyes 66
