DePaul wound up pulling away 88-75. They are now 7-0.

It’s looking like DePaul might end up being a borderline bad loss, well maybe not a bad loss but I’m not sure if they’ll make the dance or not.

All the metrics are not a fan of them despite winning at Iowa and at Minnesota.

With a larger sample size it’s looking more and more like that was just a terrible night for Iowa and a really good night for DePaul.

They aren’t a tourney team at this point. They are 1-4 in Big East conference play with today’s win. They were 63 in NET coming into the day which will go up but they are still on the outside looking in at this point.

It’s a tad early to be sure of that. I made that comment over a week ago after they had lost 3 in a row.

Good win today but still a long ways to go and home losses never look good.
