These next 2 game are so huge for Iowa. They're just out of the top 25 in both polls and Iowa needs to get back into the rankings and stay there. Two wins over solid teams will earn them some equity to stay ranked awhile even if they lost @PSU down the road.

I'm telling you...I have a bad feeling about this one. Second consecutive road game, the opponent knows we have two freshman corners likely starting, our stable play calling LB is out, and we are facing a mobile QB who is accurate on the run. If I'm Indiana, I'd be testing the edge in the run game too. Teams tried to do that to Desmond King when he was a freshman too. He was special...he stoned people. Are these freshmen as physical?

If Iowa wins this ball game and the defense performs at it's current statistical level...this year is beginning to line up well. KF's teams that find a way to win these early B10 road games against teams they should beat...usually find themselves on a roll.

Keep in mind, Indiana is also a bit dinged up like the Hawks ...

Philyor (WR) is questionable ... he had 18 receptions in their first 4 games.
Timian (WR) Is questionable ... he had 13 receptions in their first 3 games.

Plus 10 others (mainly back ups) including a couple OL, a DT and LB who are questionable.

P.S. Ojemudia and Hankins have just been upgraded to "probable" vs. Indiana, so we are healing in the secondary.

I am nervous about this game too. Iowa has the edge on defense. Indiana a edge on offense. So they counter each other. Iowa's offense needs to counter score for score with Indiana.

I think Young and Sargent can handle the load. Losing Fant would be huge.
