He should put on a pot of coffee because he will have to nuke all of the threads today. None of them will be very positive.

It isn't about positive. It's about ******* decency and not being a bunch of whiny fools who have no respect for any sort of order. So after seeing a few things, I just nuked it...but not permanently...I can still see it and still may decide to vote a few folks off the island.

I saw two guys post such garbage before the thread got nuked... there may have been more.

Jon did the 100% right thing. The only thing left to do is ban the idiots who made those posts.

Wouldn't it be better (long term) to just take the time to nuke the offenders, again for the better long term of the site? Closing the thread just means the offenders will strike again elsewhere.

No it doesn't. It means I pretty much get to freeze it, where you can't see it, I can, and I can go through it and start pruning
