Game Day in IC on 22 September???

Being televised by Fox doesn't make Gameday impossible, but much less likely. Yes, Gameday was at the SEC title game, Notre Dame/Michigan, and PSU/OSU. Do you notice the common thread in those games? Undeniable blue bloods. Wisky/Iowa doesn't have remotely the same juice.

Sagarin would currently set the Iowa/Wisky line as a pickem. I'll predict a line of Wisky by 3.5.

Corso makes like 7 bucks a week performing his schtick. Slightly more than Van Pelt. Times are tough at the World Wide Leader in Sports.

Three stipulations in Corso's contract:
1. No one can mention his coaching record.
2. He gets to share a motel room with The Bear.
3. He must be back in time for Bingo.
I had to look it up. His head coaching record was 73-85-6 and in the USFL he was 5-13. His game day picks may be worse than that.

He was a winner at Louisville but he couldn't do it at Indiana. In fairness no one has there. They have had only 14 winning seasons since the end of WWII. Holy Sheet.

I found this pretty entertaining:

During one game in the 1976 season, Corso called a time out after his team scored a touchdown early in the second quarter. The entire team huddled together for a photograph with the scoreboard filling the background. It read: Indiana 7, Ohio State 6. It was the first time in 25 years that the Hoosiers had led the Buckeyes in a football game.
